Today's Tea Party is for Ann's cousin, Marion, as she recuperates from surgery. Snietje is our hostess and she has given us a list of elements and techniques to use on our cards. I chose watercoloring and embossing (who am I?). This Bugaboo digi is one I've had for a couple years and haven't used and it worked so well for Barbara's colors today and dessert (autumn)! I printed the digi on watercolor paper and traced it with an embossing marker, so I could use clear embossing over the image and not have the printer ink run in my watercolor. Worked perfectly! I used my Spectrum Aqua markers and matched the colors the best I could. The green is off. Sorry. I used some of my new watercolor knowledge from Watercolor Wednesday and mixed up all the colors on my palette for the ground. Look at me learning!
I also used the Stella Says Sketch #814

That little fall turtle is absolutely adorable, Jen. But tracing it so you can heat emboss it, that's dedication to your art! One of the reasons I never embraced digis, because until a couple of years ago watercolour was my primary medium for colouring.
