I started with a scrap from my stash--it had a very subtle script on it from the burnt milk technique. It doesn't really show up, but does add a subtle visual texture to the card base, so I mentioned it.
Next I hammered the Ornate Floral EF in random places--basically a triangle. I first tried a rubber hammer, but it didn't seem to do much.
Stamped the sentiment and scroll next.
I started sponging with Purple Posy, then added Highland Heather around the edges and finished with Gorgeous Grape only on the edges in the corners.
The flower cut-out is popped up and used as an embellishment.

The technique really shows well on your pretty card!

Oh, I can see the script in the background. Funny, because I have a couple of burnt milk pieces sitting on my computer monitor stand waiting to be used up. What a pretty embossing folder. I chickened out and stamped first so I could see where exactly I wanted to be emboss, but it sounds as if you planned it out well.
