I've been thinking about this challenge, and being a member of the Teapotters I thought this would be perfect, the sentiment means: The best moments are even better shared with friends.
I've fussy cut my teapot out of foil, cold embossed it and sponged over with stazon olive green and versafine smokey grey, then I've added crystal clear embossing powder, I've made a round easel and glued my teapot on the upper part, die cut a doily and glued the bottom on the doily, added this onto a cd, and cut 2 squares one out of foil and the second out cream card stock, layered this all together, embellished with lace and flowers, around the cd I've added a sticker line and some white stickers in the corners.

Such ingenuity in this design, that makes my heart happy to see that you have created so much of this using your artistry to pull out your various mediums and to create a very delightful and a very cohesive work of art. SO neat, SO elegant! The CD gives this a neat iridescent shine, and I was at first wondering if you added any paint or any other medium to the top of the DP, but I am guessing that this hue is just that the CD has caught the light and the beautiful shine when you snapped this photo.
Putting the doily on top is genius! It would be a cool way to send a CD to someone as long as it wasn't actually attached to the rest of the card--but you have in your own ingenious way used this CD as a cool texture and a strong base to this easel card. I LOVE IT when I see great artists like yourself using everyday objects taken and elevated into art because you have the great artistry and superb imaginative mind to put it all together.
The texture you have on that wonderful teapot is truly special, I love teapots and china and that vintage charm, you have elevated all of this to become great art.
Anita, you really are an extremely innovative, and a very talented artist. I LOVE how you have put this together--many could use these elements together and create a neat piece, but YOU have the artistic genius to make it truly wonderful and very innovative and elegant work of art. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Favorited. Anita, I am blown away at such a high level, and I again wish that I could put in all 3 of these favorited works of art at the very top of my favorites of the week. Hopefully very soon we will have that blessing again. But I am listing this card in the CAS Favorites this week, it may be a slight stretch but I thought that it worked.
Sorry that my comments have been so long, but I had to describe all that I am so very taken with in each of these truly great works of art, and each have very different styles and modalities, which illustrates just a bit of the breadth of your artistic genius.
