So, that is what made me get started. This took some time and finessing and I am covered in ink now. I cut everything out first and then added layers of color.

It's beautiful as was Kia's. She will be so glad she inspired you to watercolor these die cuts. Great job on the challenge. We do get messy sometimes, don't we? I think that is when we are doing our best work.

Love, love how you did the die cuts....it might have taken some time, but it was worth the effort.. Thanks for playing and giving us this beauty in the gallery.

Oh my goodness, I think that I am going to be powerless to resist eventually purchasing this set of stamps and dies if they are still available later in the fall, or early next year...
I am a big lover of the outer layer skeleton dies of both the leaves and the sunflower, and boy do these add a wonderful richness of color to your palette as well as neat dimension.
Your watercolored background is STUNNING, and I love how my eye is drawn to the top LHS of the background where the color is richest, and how light the background is around your focal image. I'd like to try this background, I have done little in watercoloring...
I also love the very soft yellows and the golden tones you have used for this flower vs more bright yellows, it looks very elegant. Beautiful foliage accents with those dies and the colors you have chosen add so much to accentuating your sunflower.
I admire your work, and it's a pleasure to be seeing so much of it using this WONDERFUL set. I think that I am now powerless to resist buying, hmmm...
Favorited. Later today (Sunday, September 13th), I will be listing this card in my CAS Favorites.
Sending my best wishes, and how I admire this wonderful body of artwork using this terrific set that is now first on my list of "I must have when possible" stamp/die set!
