A friend asked me for a baby card and I really love to personalize baby cards. I was especially excited when I found out that the baby's theme was Winnie the Pooh and I could use my Winnie the Pooh stamp! And how lucky that it fit pretty well into today's sketch! This is a really fun stamp to color. I think because I didn't have to think about what colors to choose. I just pulled up a picture of Winnie the Pooh and matched the colors. Sonja's sketch is a little tough for me, so I opted to cut a DP scrap for the bottom and then mask and sponge/stencil the side triangles.
I was also able to combine with today's Watercolor Wednesday challenge. I grabbed a piece of watercolor paper and colored the bottom half with a Spectrum Aqua marker and brushed with water for an ombre effect. I like the look for my die cut letters. But then I got the Stickles in my hand and got a little carried away...

The image looks great with the sketch, and I like the added stenciling. Great take on the watercolor challenge with your personalized name. Amazing the depth you can achieve on die cuts with out stamping them. Thanks for playing in the challenge this week.

Just darling, Jen...love Winnie the Pooh and this is perfect for a baby card! One can ever have too much sparkle! Cute use of the sketch...love the stenciled sides!
Aww! This is so sweet! The name is darling with the added sparkle and the image is so sweet! My mother called our little guy pooh bear and somewhere along the line he became Seth Bear!
