I coloured this image a couple of years ago whilst sick in bed. I'd pulled out the box of coloured images during the week to find something for DH. I'm not very good at using pre-coloured stuff. The colours went well with this background which I stamped last week for I can't even remember what - so I fussy-cut the ballon, stamped it on the base and added the cut image back in. Edged with gold ink and EP, and added a birthday sentiment. Can never have enough birthday cards....

The colors do go perfectly with that background and the background is perfect for your balloon. All the decorative swirls look almost like clouds. Really cute and fun card.

So cute! What a happy and colorful card! I love that background! I never precolor because I think I'd be the same way with having them hang around for a year.

This is such a pretty card. The background is lovely and that coloured image really looks so good against it. I specially like the gold embossed edging - I will have to add that to my list of “must try” techniques.

Darling image. Great thing to do coloring while sick in bed. Glad you used it on this super background! All goes so well together and makes a very happy birthday card. Hugz
