This is my sample for CC808. LeAnn is our hostess and she chose bumblebee, merry merlot and mossy meadow for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is masculine.
I loved these colors and went Christmas with them. I will be giving this one to a little boy for Christmas so I am in for dessert.
I created a little Christmas scene using the slimline card design. My gnome, reindeer and North Pole toy company are all new Christmas dies from CottageCutz. I cut them in the challenge colors plus neutrals.
On the background, I used some mossy meadow designer paper from the Stampin'-Up "festive farmhouse" collection. I overlaid some vellum to tone it down a bit.
A big welcome to LeAnn. She is hosting her first color challenge this week. I hope you can play along with us this week. The gallery will be lit up with these beautiful color choices.

What a great little - long - guy's Christmas card. That vellum is a wonderful way, not only to tone down the depth of Mossy color but also to bring all the elements together and add definition to your scene.

What an adorable Santa, I love he's 'not' sitting on the bow! Teehee! The little fella who receives this will love it! I like the touch of vellum to tone things down, I'm going to store that idea for future reference! TFS Mary!

This is such a great Christmas scene, created with those fabulous die cuts. I didn't think Christmas with these colors but it really invokes the holiday feel.
