Reading the challenges this morning, and a comment by Snieje about making her own stencil with dies, I went to my work space to do the same. In the process I must have been thinking of the cas challenge to use one primary and one secondary color as in my mind it was all for the same card. I put some square dies thru to make the pattern then sponged with daffodil delight. I stamped Hold on to Hope images over that in dusty concord. I found a tiny birthday sentiment which I wanted because my friend has a BD in a couple of weeks and she loves butterflies.. and Sharon had sent me this die cut which I sparlked up with glitter glue and this card is the result of my haze in the brain maze!

The combination of the stamping over your sponged squares is so pretty. I take my hat off to those of you who went to the trouble of making your own grid stencils - it crossed my mind as a possibility but I never mustered the energy to try it. Nice colour combo for the CAS challenge, too.
