Hello, sweet friends! It's a slow go for me still, but I managed to color a new digi for the first time in over a year! Wow, am I rusty! It felt so strange and awkward to color, but it got a wee bit easier on the second "real" coloring. The first was a practice run to test out the colors. Not sure they "gel" well enough for me, but I think it's a good start after all this time.
I left some room for a sweet sentiment and then used a never-been-used die that I so love. I think it worked well for this image, don't you think? I hope you like it, and thanks for taking a closer look. There is more information on my blog along with links for the other team members' amazing cards! Wow, what talent!
Thanks for your continued prayers for me. They have meant so much to me. Keep safe and healthy! We're all definitely in this for the long haul, aren't we? Hugs and love to you all! xoxo
P. S. I forgot to mention that this card is also for the SCS Challenge USEIT2020, since the Penny Black dies are new and never been used. I need to start using more of my NBUS and oldies.

Your coloring, Cheryl, is lovely as always!!! I am SO GLAD to see your art on the SCS gallery again! You have definitely NOT lost your touch, these flowers are GORGEOUS! I really love how you have shaded and highlighted that stunning pink flower especially, it's truly lovely! The mellow moss cs from SU is the perfect color choice to frame your focal image, and I have never seen this fancy Penny Black die, I will look it up and take a look at it--it looks fantastic as an artistic component in your card.
I am very glad that you are feeling well enough to do some coloring. It must feel odd but you certainly are creating wonderful art as you always do. Take very good care and I will be praying for your continued healing.

What a treat to see your beautiful art in the gallery Cheryl. I think I have sat for at least 20 minutes studying your card and how you do everything, and the colours and shading. You are not rusty my friend, brilliant and beautiful.

such a treat to see your card, Cheryl. I don't get to look in the gallery much anymore, so it was serendipity that your card was here. You are such an amazing artist, and this is gorgeous. Such a sweet image and you chose perfect colors and such a cool die cut frame. So glad that you were feeling up to creating this beauty.
