It's time for the Splitcoast Fan Club Sept Christmas Challenge! We have a year of new Christmas Challenges! You'll need to be Fan Club member but that's easy...just click the blue link to find out how. We'd love to have you play along. As luck would have it, I think my colors are very close to the Color Challenge, so I'm adding it there, as well.
For my card, I die cut a lg white panel, the shadowbox frame, & a purple deckled frame to go on top. I stamped the scene, masked & sponged in the snow & sky & stamped the (partial) greeting.I used some thinned white acrylic paint in a mini mister to spritz the falling snow. (It's thinned to about a 3 to 1 ratio & has been in this mister for a couple of years. Still works great!) Some extra trees were stamped & die cut to add dimension around the frame & stickles was added to the snow & trees for some sparkle.
Thanks so much for looking! It's on my blog w/ closeups & product links: The Write Stuff

I'm not quite done with summer, Julie, but this card makes me want to just walk right into this picture and sit down by a crackling fire with a cup of cocoa. What a lovely, inviting scene!
