I created this card for Nancy's Messy, Mixed & Joyful challenge: Altered Playing Cards.
I brushed gesso on my card and glued another card to the back of this card. Then, I added torn strips of vellum, a TH sentiment and sewed around my card edges and stamped some script onto the card. I sponged over the card with black and added a red heart gem.
Being a bit picky, I added a white highlight to the eyes and sealed it with Crystal Lacquer. After all, the eyes are the window to the soul!

This is terrific. I like that you sewed 2 cards together, nice touch. The gloss for the eyes is genius.
