The stencil was a laser cut piece from a card kit. I loved the idea (guess I saw it online) to use it as a stencil. I have since figured out that if you have a paper "stencil" that you want to save, spray it with clear acrylic spray paint--several heavy coats. Be sure to pick it up between coats to removed any extra paint that may be hanging around in the cut-outs. Spray both sides and it becomes water resistant and useful over and over.
