Hello, SCS friends! It's time for Tuesday's Color Challenge. Jeanne is our hostess and she has presented lovely colors for us to work with. The colors are: Poppy Parade, So Saffron, and Pool Party. You may include stripes, dots, and/or checks if you wish to indulge in the dessert option.
My card was created using Copic markers in shades that are similar to the challenge colors. In addition, I used a neutral shade of green while keeping the challenge colors the star of the show.
I stamped and colored the flower image twice on two pieces of scrap cardstock. I fussy cut the flowers and pruned some of the leaves from one of the images before adhering it to the background. The background was made using a stencil and few hand drawn lines. Of course, I just couldn't pass up stripes for dessert. A spattering of Nuvo Drops add extra interest and texture. The final step was to glue a piece of fun foam on the back of the background before adhering it onto a white card base.
I hope you find inspiration from my card and have fun creating your own.
