This is for Angie's DTGD20ohmypaper! challenge and today's FS- Arizona Maine. I so enjoy Angela's creations and she makes lovely comments. This is what I chose to re-create: CAS285 Sweet Melon by Arizona Maine at Splitcoaststampers
This morning, I was watching my favorite TV show- CBS Sunday Morning. Have loved it since Charles Kuralt was the host. There was a piece about a watermelon farm in Oregon, sounds like they have the best watermelons in the world and at the end, there was this cute sun art of a watermelon sun. I thought 'I can do this!' and then when I saw that card of Angela's, I thought, 'I can do this today!' Cut a circle, blended DOx inks (candied apple and picked raspberry), doodled the seeds (most watermelon grown today is seedless, not easy to have spitting competitions) and doodled the rays in black and three different greens. I was also influenced by a card Angela did last Halloween because she did Zentangle!!!!! I love Zentangle and doodling!

Oh, how fun this is! You chose such a fun card from Angela's gallery to CASE. I love that the morning show inspired you. A watermelon sun! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!
