I used a BG that I had stamped with an embossing folder a while back. It was too busy with the letters behind the flower so I sponged cajun craze ink through the negative from a dome window die cut. I colored the sunflower and fussy cut it. (I did add some green for my leaves.) Then I used a strip of cajun craze edged in Early Espresso for the sentiment. I heat embossed it in dark brown EP at first. But I didn't really like that. Luckily I had stamped that strip in my Misti so I just put it back in and stamped some more Versamark on it and sprinkled the yellow EP over the brown. Heated it and I think it made it more like the Crushed curry color with the brown under it, which was great. This EP is really more a bright yellow. This was fun. I've been wanting to get this flower colored so I love the colors this week. And the pic from Hand Stamped Sentiments is perfect for my flower.
