Big congrats to Elizabeth (palparis) for being chosen featured stamper this week. I have faved lots of her cards in the past. I immediately wanted to case her latest entry: WT805 & TLC798 cling to ink with SC442 by palparis at Splitcoaststampers
I used the same stamp (scored at a garage sale last summer), but in turquoise instead of black. Also different diecut sentiment.
I had no intention of glittering this up, but I had put distress glaze on the flowers and wasn't all that happy with the look- not that it isn't a great product-, so out came the heat & stick powder, which I rarely use and had to google how to use it and then used glitter and I am quite happy with how this looks now. It was a process as they say, lol. I also added a dragonfly. I used ripe persimmon on the hello but toned it down with the versamagic pink grapefruit. Posting this for the above challenges of F4A hello, WT805 cling wrap, and Mix 393 how does your garden grow. (I don't have a garden-this is in my dreams, lol).
So happy to see you, Elizabeth, being chosen and I hope you enjoy your week. Thanks to you I got a card made today! tfl.

Love that old stamp set and almost used it yesterday. The look on this is wonderful, Shirl. I love the glitter - especially on the dragonfly. Lovely case and card. Hugz

Great CASE and great summery card. I like how you softened it up using turquoise and the addition of the dragonfly. I've been grateful to have seen a few outside on walks, recently.
