I missed Anna's MIX challenge last week (work), but with a day off today, I am catching up. Last night as I was heading down the ladder I looked at one of my failed pieces from Monday (yes, this was what the dolphin piece looked like before I added the blue/green layer!) and thought that I could doodle flowers around the stronger red parts. Having done that this morning, I thought of this stamp. It's coloured with Inktense pencil, and there is a bit more pink in the hedgie's face and hands, but I can't kick DH out of his desk to try more photos. I added SN clear glitter pen over the poppies on the stamped image, and doodled a border on the card base.

Your background poppies are beautiful - lovely and rich and just right to highlight the little hedgehog scene in the garden. Love the doodled gold border frame.

Oh my goodness I got this absolutely adorable card in the mail. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. It really brightened my morning. I am glad I had to drop 2 cards out in the mail today. My son grabbed the mail and dropped this on the street and I just happen to find it when I put the cards in the mail. I think I am going to need to have a chat with that boy. I hope you are doing well sweet friend. Hugs!
