I decided to try doing this technique using DO inks after seeing Karen D. beautiful card this morning. It works well and I like the subtle results. I used water mixed with perfect pearls to spray the cling wrap...it gives it a bit of sparkle. The foreground is sponged with blueprint distress ink and I used my MISTI to stamp the images....added some liquid pearls, stickles, and that's about it..

So amazing and so fun! You made a great and beautiful storybook page. Your little fairy is right on the edge of the cliff looking out at the possibilities of the future. Her trusty unicorn, patiently waits for the direction of which path to take. Perhaps she'll choose Australia where you and Susie can share your awesome Liquid Pearls and Stickles discoveries together.

I love, love, love this Polly. When I first looked at it I thought it was a horse. Yesterday I saw a wild horse being rescued and it was so close to the heart. I like your unicorn and little fairy. Sweet!!

What a magical scene, Polly. I'm betting there is a beautiful shimmer, I always like to add some metallic spray or powders into mine. I think I'll be giving the DOX a try myself after seeing this (haven't got to Karen's card yet). The sponged foreground adds perfect depth and solidness to the soft background.
