Four cards for the April 2020 Christmas Card challenge. The suggestion for this month's challenge is to use non-traditional colors. So, no red or green on these cards!
The vellum was adhered to the Very Vanilla CS by first running it thru my Xyron Creative Station Lite. That makes it look more like 'regular' DSP! I then cut those panels and the DSP on the diagonal, mixed and matched them and adhered to black CS and then to the card front.
I die-cut the frame once out of gold and once out of black, saving the black oval 'cut-out'. The greeting was embossed in gold on that black oval. The gold frame was layered onto the black frame. (I saved the gold oval 'cut-outs' for another project!) I hand-cut several ovals from black CS, adhered them together in a 'stack', and adhered the sentiment oval and the frame to the top, to give it some depth. Adhered the die-cut leaves and flowers underneath, and adhered to the card front.
TFL!
