For the Alpha "Q" challenge. Saw this online from Glenda Calkins and wanted to try it: https://glendasblog.com/ruffled-ombr...lenda-calkins/
1" strips glued to layering c.s. and embossed. I did my stamping first before I glued the strips down to emboss them. First try didn't work cause I had the e.f. too far down and it marked my heat embossing. Dang! Life is too short-I want my first try to work, ha ha. thanks for looking!

Cute! Love the look of the embossed strips, especially with the Ruffled folder. Love the ruffled trim ribbon with it, too. The sentiment is perfect for Letter Q. Great card!

hey! I have that EF! This is so pretty! I want to try it too! I am pinning it. I was thinking of it as roof but as a "Fabric" it totally works esp with that great trim ribbon you have!

This is so pretty, Shirl, love that embossed ribbon look. Beautiful colors too. I think my mom talked about some show called Queen for a day? Not sure, I think she said something about them giving her a baby shower with that theme? Anyway, your card is lovely!
