I hope Anita doesn't faint when she sees that I did a fancy fold. I'm such a whiner about them.
I had no plan beyond looking for a technique that had a surprise inside. This box card tutorial only calls for one piece of double sided dp, I thought 'maybe I could do that.' Then I had to find a fairly thin double sided piece of paper and I chose this rather Christmas-y paper (yay, I used some dp!). The fold was pretty easy, although I did need the video (!). I used an ATC from my collection on the outside and another one on the inside, mounted on two wobbly springs so it jumps up when opened.

You make me laugh! We are on the same page when it comes to 3D stuff. But I just finished a class on 3D art and survived so trying to reprogram my brain. The watercolor challenge is more in my lane. Congratulations on completing this complicated card!! Turned out just great.

Lol...and I whine about folds too lol. This is great and I bet when that wobbly thing springs open to reveal the inside it’s great in there too. TFS. Happy day

Go you, Jean! The woman who doesn't enjoy fun folds! I really like this one, but I don't make it often enough and usually find I struggle with the folds in the box part. Adding the ATC to the belly-band is a great idea. It looks like a wrapped gift waiting to be opened.
