This is a card that I'm so excited to make. My brother's Air Force buddy just got promoted to Master Sergeant! Jermaine was stationed in Minot, ND with my brother until he got assigned to MA as a recruiter. That's when my family got to know him. He's taken the test for Master Sergeant several times. He's worked so hard for this and I'm so excited that he made it this time! I made this pattern of his new stripes for my ScanNCut and cut it with navy and silver paper. I always get a little carried away with the size of my patterns. I didn't mean for this to be quite so big, but I think it looks cool anyway. I embossed some blue paper with a great star EF and popped up the patch. And could there be any better sentiment for this card than this Power Poppy sentiment? I love it! Thanks, Lisa, for the "Inside Out" challenge today. It made me realize that I should use this great Pop Up Congrats die that I've never used (because I neglect the insides of my cards). Sorry for not doing something fancier for the inside of my card.

A great card and a great achievement by Jermaine. Love your patch -- I think the size is perfect as it commands attention -- just like a Master Sergeant would. Fab job, as always.
