Another "get this off my desk" project. This was a stamp I would have liked to use for the umbrella-themed WTUI a while back, but didn't have time. So I pulled it out and stamped it, and coloured it one afternoon while chatting to someone on the phone, and it's been on my desk ever since. I was looking for a suitable sentiment to fill the top part of the card, and having picked this one Cheryl sent me, that set me off on a more complex card. I masked Harmony Girl, and stamped in the Scribble Garden, then coloured the flowers with Inktense pencils, adding some Stickles and Liquid Pearls. I sponged more heavily around my previous grass area to fill the entire bottom of the card, and I sponged the rest with blue and grey. Then I decided to add the sun rays (squeezed lemonade) and since they didn't fill the whole top, I added some raindrops in with a silver pen on the other side. The whole thing is edged with chunky Ice Stickles in Platinum.

This is such an uplifting card with the sun rays and raindrops. On bad days I always remind myself that behind the clouds there is a bright blue sky and the sun is still shining. This card captures that feeling. The flowers are lovely and I think that girl image is perfect.

This card reminds me so of a lovely spring garden. My garden is just starting to show signs of Spring on the way. More rain today should help it along. Hope it looks this good in a month or so.
