Washi tapes were used to create the background of this card, the banners on white string, and the backing for the sentiment strip.
The background card-body was cut to a numeral "1" after being covered in washi tapes. The next layer, the white "1", was dry embossed before trimming 3/16" less than the card front's "1" all the way around.
The white cord with washi-tape banners was affixed to the white numeral "1" with each washi-flag mounted on a pop-up glue dot. Once the banner pieces and white cord were affixed to the white "1", the white "1" was adhered to the card front.
The bear and bow were stamped in a Misti with the colors noted in the "Inks" then fussy cut. Used a glue dot to adhere the bow to the bear.
The sentiment came out of my magic mug (a mug on my craft table full of pre-stamped/trimmed sentiments that are ready to go) was adhered to a piece of washi-covered CS which was then trimmed down and adhered to the card front.
Card was finished off by placing pop-up glue dots under the bear's head, torso, and bottom of belly then slightly tucking his feet under the sentiment strip and pressing him into place.
