This actually started off pretty, but I screwed up lining up the embossing folder and got a double exposure, so I hit the raised areas with my India ink pad, smudged it up with distress crayons. This bird looked like it was scared and shaking so I turned this into an old buzzard grungy card. I added the words with a Dymo label using Susan's One4Joy signature staple trick. Added pink stickles and a dollop of StazOn dimensional glaze on the party hat. The BG was a brayered waste sheet with lots of black and gold. I added random #'s with a very large, heavy, vintage, tall wooden handled stamp that one can rotate to whatever #'s they want. It even has fractions! Found it for $3.00 at an estate sale years ago. So cool. I posted a pic of it in today's F4A thread.

Wonderful collage birthday card. Love the numbers in the background and the story of how you got the stamp. The Dymo Label strips are a blast to the past and look great. I forget to use mine. Thanks for the reminder. Terrific art. Age is just a number!

Well you turned this into a delightful, fun birthday card for some old buzzard. I love the number stamp story...I use to use one of those at work. Love the look here on your card. Great save!

Such a great artsy correction! Sometimes mistakes end up making for wonderful artsy stuff. I actually love your double exposure and old buzzard, distress crayon coloring and every other bitty thing!
