For the Mix challenge I used green on the bg and the stamps have green, and there are thin brown circles on the postage strip (made with a cardboard toilet roll)
Paper towel cut into strips and glued with matte gel to a watercolor base. Dylusions turquoise and lime sprays used on the paper towel/watercolor base. I had just bought a Standard Postage Stamp Catalog at an estate sale for $2 because the pages were so thin and old and I thought they would be terrific for mixed media projects. One strip was torn from a page, edges rubbed with Antique Photo dox, and then glued to the middle. Postage printed from a digi website cut with stamp-edge scissors, stamped with ink to look cancelled, glued around the stamp strip. TH correspondence stickers used as the sentiment.
The paper was curling so I glued it to a bg panel and glued that to a small canvas.
Sorry for the long-winded description! TFL

The base is probably my favourite part, I like the swathes of colour and slight texture. But your stamps are beautiful, the sentiment too. That book sounds like a great find! I'm envious of your stamp edge scissors, I've never been able to find a pair, so I had to settle for a stamp edger die, which I should really use more.

The stamp catalog sounds like a treasure of images! I love your beautiful collage, Kandie. The vivid colors are a beautiful bg for the catalog page and stamps. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Beautiful. Paper towel--hmm, sounds interesting. The curling thin paper would also be nice-a texture bonus. Your stamps came out perfectly. All in all, a very captivating composition, suitable for framing.
