It is Tickle a Teapotter time and Denise aka Card Crazy has us celebrating National Waterpark Day. I have had my eye on this Vera Lane Studio's digi stamp set for a while, Denise's fun challenge gave me the perfect excuse to buy it.
Here we have Little May, Daisy May, June and April along with their bikini clad cousin, Tallulah. All the girls are printed on copy paper, coloured with Prismacolour pencils, Zest it pencil blend and a colourless blending pencil. Highlights made with Jane Davenport Dotty markers, a light swipe with a distress ink walnut stained foam blending tool, than fussy cut.
The background was from my stash and was a combination of Dylusions and Ranger ink sprays and JD dotty markers. The panel was too big for what I had in mind. I had a choice of cutting off the green at the bottom or the blue across the top - neither option appealed to me so I cut an inch out of the middle. I stuck the two halves back together using double sided tape.
Unfortunately I did not remove the protective backing from the tape, meaning the recipient will see a slightly raised area right across the middle of the card. Next time I do this cut 'n shut trick I will remember to remove the tape backing.
I used my MISTI, Stazon and a fun Dylusions boarder stamp that has never seen ink and some Carabelle Studio stamps to create a waterpark theme.
I placed a strip of tape measure washi tape behind Little May and Daisy May - they might be too short for some of the activities!
Lots of Stickles were used to simulate water. I had a heap of fun making this, especially knowing that it is going to a Teapotter.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in. Stay safe.

This is absolutely gorgeous Susie. A great group of friends on an outing to the water park. Love all the different patterned swimmers and the assortment of eye wear. Yes - you have made them so life like with their knee replacement scars on show too - now that made me chuckle.

I think May, Daisy May, June and April need to come to my backyard waterpark ..they would certainly gain entry with their polka dot suits! The colors on this are so much fun and your coloring as always ....fantastic! Love it!
What fun girlies for our water park tea party this week!
I wish I had gorgeous backgrounds Laying around like this one.
Your color scheme for your girlies suits is wonderful, too. Susie, this is just another great Susie creation, and I am loving every bit of it.

So absolutely adorable. Love the way you "dressed" these cuties and those sunglasses are the best! So glad you decided to keep the blue and greens -- love all the colors but they look more waterpark-ey. The background, as always, is fabulous. And, just so you know, my wallet is just as thin as yours--because of you I now own a Vera Lane collection too. LOL. This card is just so fun and makes me smile wide. I love that Tallulah is brave enough to wear a bikini with her scars. Way to Go Tallulah.

I love that you named your girls and I love the great BG from your stash for them.
Now you have a spare inch from out of the center of this panel that you can add to another card.
I am tickled that you used measure tape and think that Little May and Daisy may might be just a bit small for some of the rides. I am hoping that the fun park will see how cute they are and not see that they could be a bit short for the fun rides/activities.
Some teapotter is going to just love this fun card, I always love the fun stories that go with your cards and how you put them together.
