This is a work in progress and will be the card for my 10 year old's birthday card next January. I want to add a lot more so nothing's glued down yet. I tried my hand at making this origami dress, and though it turned out, it's supposed to have a V-neckline but it was baffling, so I settled for this sailor-type style. I added paper doll tabs at the shoulders and waistline so she is interactive. Also added the rickrack & buttons for the dress fashion statement, requested by Angie for today's Free 4 All. Ruth and the report card are the real deals, though I did scan them for future fun. Computer generated the chalkboard but added the chalk # lines with a dried out galaxy pen. It's coming together.

Wow, this is going to be an awesome card. All the elements are just fascinating. The origami dress is fabulous.

This is so adorable!!! I love those vintage pieces, and remember these times, and bringing home report cards like this (except mine didn't have A's on them).
