Another birthday card inspired by Sandra Boynton's cute critters and "Hippo Birdie 2 Ewe" song. This was the design I initially had in my mind for this card, however, when I looked at my many MFT sets, this sheep one was not one I owned. And it was retired. Thankfully, stampers are wonderful, kind people and an inky friend who owned the set stamped several images and sentiments from the set and sent to me. (Love her for this!)
Since I don't have any slimline dies (yet), I used a cut piece of copy paper to create my own template. I then cut a piece of Bazzill Diamond Bling and used my template to position my 3 die cut squares. Since I use my MFT In&Out Square dienamics so often, I had plenty of Stamper's Select stitched squares in my stash.
I stamped, colored and die cut the critters and balloons. I colored the grassy hills, fence and sheep from my friend. Next, I used an MFT cloud die with Hero Arts Soft Pool dye ink to create my sky. I attached the grassy hill die cuts, trimming on each side to be the same size as my square. I inlaid the squares and added my critters, balloons and fence.
To assemble the card, I added a thin piece of card stock under my focal panel for dimension, matted with black, added a second black layer for dimension and adhered everything to my card base. Finished off the card by running clear glitter pen over critters and balloons.
Inside sentiment: HIPPO BIRDIE 2 YOU!
So happy with how this turned out!

Just adorable! Doesn't look as if you need the slimline dies.
