My high school typing class was one of my favorites. Typing was something that I excelled at. In fact, my life time top speed was 120 wpm. Now that I am a teacher, I really enjoy showing my little 3rd graders keyboarding skills. It's a skill that will certainly get them ready for college and career.
Today's card features an old fashioned typewriter which was stamped and die cut using Hero Arts Infinity Infinity Circle Dies. The typing paper in the typewrite had a small sentiment on it. I covered the sentiment with a small piece of paper then stamped the image. Since the sentiment was covered, I was able to add a paper punched heart.
The patterned paper that I used was from the very first paper pack that I ever bought. The paper is from My Mind's Eye and I'm sure it was discontinued ages ago. I only have a few pieces from this pack left. I wish companies would stop discontinuing things.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my card!

Very clever how you covered the sentiment ... great way to extend the use of a stamp. I'm not sure I know the first piece of DP i purchased, but I do have some I'd had to see totally used up -- and text pages make a great BG.
