Whenever I do this technique it doesn't seem to show a lot of variation where the salt was...hmmm...Oh well..it's always fun to try. I'm using some new stamps/dies from Altenew...I went on an online shopping spree a couple of weeks ago ;)

Great dies and stamps and I love your background color. I know what you mean about the salt background technique. I tried coarse salt on hot press w/c paper which is smoother and it did nothing. The trash can got to eat it. Angie mentioned she had done one a while back with Mixed Media paper and I remembered I had some and it worked Yay! But, I do see your salt technique on the background. Beautiful card with the pretty vase of flowers.

Love the colors you chose, Polly for the bg. This is a tricky technique...depends what the salt decides to do on what color and paper. Great new toys..love the vase and flowers. Pretty card. Glad to see you join the challenge.
This is perfectly lovely! I love the green with the yellow base. Beautiful. The vase of flowers is gorgeous. I love the colors of your BG and the die cut border. Great card!

This is about the results I got as well Polly! But it is still a beautiful BG. I' have been pulled into the Altenew vortex lately as well! Nice framing die and I love all of their flower stamps.

I love the soft texture of that luscious green background. It's perfect as a backdrop for your lovely flowers. I am just going to try mine now, so we will see how mine turns out.
