I wanted to do a scrapbook page in her honor but didn't feel like dragging out my photos. I picked this lovely card thinking I would case it for this week's Tea Party:
but a funny thing happened in the craft room. Started looking for my circle die and found this tag die and then I saw this skull die and then I remembered I needed to make a card with some new DRS Designs stamps... then I went over to the media pile and saw the texture effect paste....as I applied layers of stuff to my white papers, more stuff got added and then this thing became so thick I could barely get that pin through it.
Better to talk about what I kept from my case: I have kept the purple, a little tag, some fiber, and an interesting frame.
I still need to make a card for the Tea Party so I may try again and not go frightful.

Oh wow is this cool, Nancy! I'm chuckling at your adventure in making this card. Happens to me often. But it was still inspired by Debra's card and it is just amazing!
Wowzers! This just jumps off gallery row on the gallery page! I had to take a closer look and comment. I can just imagine the peace you feel as you add layers and textures to your projects. This is amazing!

I am speechless - this is an amazing card on many levels. The little straw fibers are what really caught my eye - so eerie! Brava!
Thanks for the FS honor!

Oh goodness - a wonderful inspired card - even if your inspiration when awry! Your story brought a chuckle, going from one thing to the next in your craft room changing your original idea - been there, done that!! This is so scary fun!!
