It's my sixth and final 800th color challenge card! Using Jeanne's fun colors which were just perfect for my farm scene. These all were just great challenges to combine. Shirley has challenged us to "Make It Country" and Ky has challenged us to "Do More of What Makes You Happy". What makes me happy is making punny scenes and finger painting fluffy white clouds. I used my Paper Smooches farmer and animals and Lawn Fawn fence and barn. I never would've colored the barn and the farmer's shirt pink if not for the color challenge, but I love the cohesiveness of all the colors coordinating and I think they look great in pink! But as I was coloring the farmer's shirt in pink, I couldn't decide if the farmer was a man or a woman--so it's Pat, the Farmer! Actually, it's Arvin, the Farmer. I missed his birthday and he lives on a farm, so this is just perfect! I used my WeR Precision Press to stamp the fence in the right spot at the top of the hill and colored it with white Signa pen (and it stands out so well against the blue sky). Jeanne chose embossing folders as dessert for her challenge, so I embossed strips into the dirt and flowers onto the grass. A great way to give some interest to my scenery without too much work or distraction. This is when I finger painted my fluffy clouds because I forgot to do it right at the beginning so it could dry. I popped up the barn, farmer, and cow on foam squares, and then put the prancing pig on an action wobble. I love this card and it makes me happy. I hope Arvin does too!

Oh Jen, this made me chuckle as soon as I saw it and laugh out loud when I read your description. Everything about it is just Happy! And I think the pink barn and farmer's shirt are perfect with the blue. Love the embossed flowers on the grass. A trick I need to remember. And, of course, I adore your sentiment. I think Arvin will adore this too.

I think the barn was red - you know how the sun fades red - just needs new paint. The clouds are very cool; never seen clouds done this way - great idea. Luv your fun farm scene!

Holy cow! (heehee) Arvin had better treasure this work of art. Those clouds are adorable, and the shirt reminds me of the worn and faded button-downs that we would wear for years on the farm. Started red, fade to pink. Great use of the challenges!

Jen this is just wonderful! What a fun scene you've created. Those clouds are to die for - finger painting, I haven't done that in decades! What a great idea, it fits the scene perfectly. You have outdone yourself this time.
