This card is for the alpha challenge. P = perfume, Paris and plonking...my word for my technique lol.
The BG was made a few weeks ago for the Try a New Technique challenge using plastic wrap or Gladwrap where I come from. I didn't have chalk inks so used my normal inks, Plonked ink on my mat and spritzed with water. After scrunching my plastic wrap, digging it in the inks, I simply dabbed the colour all over my panel. It gives a really cool effect.
Back to my P card. So the panel has been sitting in my stash since June. It is so pretty that I wanted to use it plus I had a new stamp set I hadn't inked up with a perfume bottle on it. That's where I started. The stamp set has script writing too and I also used my postcard from Paris stamps, added the sentiment on some pretty paper. Now that's another story that a friend on this site witnessed...but thank goodness for a journalling pen lol.
The border was die cut and it was suggested by my friend that I stopped there, but that wouldn't be me lol. I die cut another, added more bits and then got out the wink of stella...oops..thank goodness for baby wipes. It is very sparkly on the borders.
All in all it wasn't a difficult card to make but my technique seems to take forever lol.
TFL. Happy day

Love it, Jayne! And to think I watched you create it! You are right, the sparkle really tops it off nicely! Absolutely love that bg and collage you created.
