Let a wildflower garden grow in your art journal. Or you could make a smaller version of the garden on a card. Create a soft background with Distress Spray Stains and when dry, stamp flowers with Archival Ink. Mask the larger flowers and continue stamping the smaller ones, so that some of them appear to be behind the larger flowers.
Color the scene with watercolors.
Stamp grass with both green and black ink. This step makes it look like the flowers are growing out of the grass instead of being stamped on top of it. Add more green paint to the grass area.
Add highlights with a white gel pen and some details with a black pen.
Stamp the smaller sentiment stamps several times without reinking for a fun background element.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
