What fun we're having for the 800th Color Challenge! I'm looking forward to challenging myself to make all six cards. I've started with Karen's colors, because they were perfect for this card that a friend asked me to make for her nephew who is a game warden in Maine. She sent me this image and I thought I could recreate that with stamps. Well, I sure was excited when I found this mountain scene stamp in my collection (thanks, Anne!). So excited that I accidentally ripped it in half when I was pulling it off the acetate backing. Damn. Can you see the rip in that tree to the right of the deer? I also had this fish freebie from designbundles.net that I printed out small and cut with my ScanNCut. The badge shape is a preloaded design on the machine. I embossed a woodgrain pattern on the background paper and then die cut a silver 50 for dessert. I also put some silver gel pen highlights on the water and mountains. Congrats, Color Challenge Team, on 800 challenges!

This is what's great about stamping. How else would you find a card so unique and specific to the recipient? This just screams outdoorsman and I love it.
