Wordplay (DROP)
D Die cuts
R Raindrops - Recollections alphabet
O Oversized (5 1/2 x 8 1/2) card
P Prismacolor Pencils
This will go to my best friend of more than 20 years and is based on July's inspiration Picture . . .
I stamped my Unity Girls and colored with prismacolor pencils blended with gamsol. Since there can be clouds in rain or in sunshine, I got my trusty cloud template, a cotton ball and light blue artist chalk to sponge in puffy banks of clouds. Die cut my sentiment and curved the second line to resemble the bottom of an umbrella - once I determined where the letters would be placed, I sponged in a sun and it's rays to encase the word shine and likewise stamped the raindrops from it's counterpart.

Wonderful work with all aspects of this card! Love your sky, the clouds are grouped so nicely. Colors is amazing. Such a clever rendering of the "rain or shine" theme.

This is a great card! Everyone has mentioned all the little details I see, but I'll mention them again. Great coloring of the images, blending and stenciling of the sky, wonderful treatment of the die cut lettering, and making it the larger size will make even more of an impact for the recipient!
