This card is for Polly's mix challenge on Found art.
I was in my play room finishing off another MM project when I thought of this challenge and how I had some panels I had made quite a while ago using household objects. I think this one was made using a comb that I scraped along the inks and a loo roll I rolled across it before taking a print.
So I thought why not keep going. This panel needs to be used and I have a bag of household items sitting in my MM trolley.
I used drywall tape and was going to just gesso over the top and leave it on but I ended up scraping my texture paste through it and peeling it off. It's now sitting in my art journal waiting for other stash to join it. I decided to leave it white rather than spraying inks over...I like the texture and effect. I did use a baby wipe to rub some of the paste off that also gave a cool effect.
The rings and dots were stamped using a bolt, an empty medicine packet and a q-tip. I love using strange objects to stamp with.
Sentiment stamped and twine added and done..nothing fancy.
TFL. Happy weekend

I am just about to start burning dinner and having one last quick check in the galleries. Wow Jayne, I am so glad I did. This is absolutely fabulous, i bet this looks even more special in real life. Love it, my west coast mate.

Fantastic MM creation Jayne! I like how you used all the household items to create this...wow! I love doing the texture paste thru the drywall tape, too....that's a fav technique of mine. Stamping with the bolts, etc was a great idea. Looks like you had fun in your "play room"
