Julzz, now that I've actually seen them, I still think $150 is not enough. You need to double the cost of supplies....and then add at least $10/hour for your time. That is alot of printing on your computer, so include the cost of one black ink cartridge to your total supplies. THESE ARE AWESOME!!!

If I knew how much commercial cards were going for, I'd be able to help you out, but I don't! You could go check around. Maybe offer a volume discount because they're all one design -- but only discount your design time, NOT time or materials.

A friend of mine sells her cards, the simple ones, for $2.50 each. So $3.00 each for these with the vellum and all is definetly not too much. These are beautiful, by the way. And commercially produced wedding cards are between $5-6 each w/ evelopes and size 5 1/2x8 1/2 size card.

I just want to say how positively gorgeous I think this is! I agree that $3.00 is not too much for something this gorgeous! She should be thrilled with your design and work!!

From what I have heard, I don't know if this will help or not, my understanding is to charge your cost + 60%. (If that isn't enough, then double it!) Good luck with your decision - and know that no matter how much you charge, they will be priceless to the person who receives them! They are beautiful!

Personally, $150 sounds just about right. For a card without brads or ribbon I charge $1 per card including the envelopes. So with the brads and ribbon $150 should fit it perfectly. Wonderful use of colors!!
