Long and skinny is the rule of the day. Gosh I wish I was long and skinny. I've never been either, although I've been skinnier. Doing a lot of different stuff is also the rule of the day. This card has been a two day process. It is so hot here, has been for maybe over two weeks, no ac here, it was a pleasure to think about Christmas and snowflakes. I went outside last night during our downpour, felt so good. I ordered a portable ac unit, one that vents outside.
I had two out of the three inks, so I had to improvise the coastal cabana with lost lagoon and few other blue/turquoise inks and also some metallic wc on the tissue paper. There isn't a lot of the tissue stuff, the cross pieces, the snow flake and the star are cut from that. I added some greenish glitter to the star, top cross piece and snowflake to help them stand out. I just loved the colors this week, right in my wheelhouse. This is also for today's sketch, my version, of course.

The tissue star and snowflake steal the show here. Lots of love went into your combo challenge beauty. Thanks for trying out my first sketch!

These colors are so beautiful together and I love all the shimmer. I'm not too sure about messin' with the long skinny cards. I always have a problem getting an envelope that fits and wondering about postage. So I usually stick to A2.

So pretty, and feeling fresh without Airco is really difficult when it's hot, I've got a cellar and when it's really hot I can go down to cool off a bit but when I go up again I don't feel fresh anymore...we don't want to make a hole in the wall for an airco but maybe we'll change our minds...

Beautiful stars, snowflakes, and a beautiful card. I love the colors you've used. The metallic and glitter are great for Christmas and that is my favorite kind of card to make. So glad you are playing along with the WCW this week.

Jean, your snowflakes are so Beautiful! Every single one of them! You know what I like Best....it's the white sentiment, its font and how the star causes it to Shine~
