I have done quite a few watercolor tissue techniques over the years but had never tried the one in Loll's video with adhering it to Graphix acetate then die cutting.
I swiped my green / blue inks onto a large acrylic block and misted generously with water then laid my tissue paper over it to absorb the color - lifted and set on a paper towel to dry. Followed the same procedure for my red / pink/ orange combo on a 2nd piece of tissue. Once dry I spread white glue over my Graphix sheet with a sponge then pressed the colored tissue paper onto it and once again set it aside to dry. I had originally intended to use a fairly "sturdy" triple daisy & it's leaves but at the last minute went for the layered rose with it's more delicate stem & leaves. Adhere the die cuts to white cardstock then framed with several coordinating pieces. I die cut sentiment from several cardstock but the colors all seemed to 'harsh" with the delicate look of the tissue rose . . . . it was then I got the (not so) brilliant idea to die cut my sentiment from more of the Red toned Graphix backed tissue. I already knew that these particular die cuts always take 2 -3 passes through the big shot to cut completely . . . made my first pass and oops the partially cut word popped out of the die - the Graphix while quite forgiving when being glued was slippery and hard to manage when trying to re-align but not to be defeated - perseverance and 40 minutes later I had a useable sentiment that was as delicate as my rose and perfectly matched.

Oh, I haven't used the acetate when doing this technique and didn't this time. I will have to try that. Your rose is beautiful and the framing looks great. Glad you perservered with that sentiment..looks great. I know you are not one to give up when you want to do something. Awesome you!!!!
