These three colors together instantly made me think of my Lilypad Lake stamp set. (Note: the Color Challenge uses Balmy Blue but I mistakenly used Pool Party).
I pulled out my watercolor pencils, a coloring medium I haven't used in a long while. Wow!! So fun!! Next up is to use them with blender pens.
To apply the Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the lily pad and flamingo images, I lightly scribbled a Zig 2 Way Glue Pen over them, sprinkled on the glitter, then tapped off the excess. I love the random coverage of sparkle this method gives!
I also sponged the cardstock edges with Soft Suede ink. I was revisiting one of my favorite stamper's gallery (flaxychick) and remembered how much I loved her sponging techniques so I had to do it on my card, too.
Thanks for looking!
