Love this cute new image from DRS Designs - part of their new encouragement/inspiration theme. I drew a quick little living room scene around the image for more interest. My Pop got a wheelchair this week to help him with long doctor's appointments, I think I am going to make a fun version of this with the wheelchair tilted and a comment about doing wheelies at the doctor.
Super fun to be doing a joint weekend with the IC Challenge team and the FS Challenge team. Hope you will join us!

.....I drew a quick little living room scene.....Nancy you need to pause after saying something like that, one needs time to get up off the floor! Oh my gosh, what a super duper fabulous card. I hope we get to see your Pops card too.

Nancy, I agree with Susie, when you say you drew the living room quickly I go wow.....it would take me hours, if I even managed to get close to making it look somewhat good. Yours is amazing. Great card and love the BG you put with it. I can imagine you doing wheelies with your Pop. TFS. Happy day and hugs

Aww! This is such a sweet image. I like the way you colored the boy's clothing to match your background. Wow! You did an amazing job creating the living room!

I love the scene you added and great job getting the shirt to match the card base. I am sure your pop would love a version of this card doing wheelies at the Dr's office Nancy.

What I find especially GENIUS in those artwork is that you were able to create that living room and truly blend the style of drawing of that person in a wheelchair and your living room. Oh my, now THAT shows why your artwork is always so distinctive, that takes incredible artistry and you clearly have it!!!
That patterned layer, wow, and it really pulls out the abstract pattern in the man's shirt, another genius as is how you have colored and shaded the background. You have created such whimsy with that person in the wheelchair, I can see a twinkle in his eye, as though he was just about to crack into a stream of wheelies right there!!!
I hope that your Dad will be on the mend very soon. Best to have a wheelchair to help him get around and stay safe in a chair as he mends... I will pray for him and his recovery right now.
I hope that you and your family have a very enjoyable and a very blessed 4th of July. Not the same at all this year, but we all still have much to be thankful for... We just celebrated our Canada Day on the 1st. I spent 5 year studying in graduate school for 2 degree programs in the US and made some wonderful, very treasured friends, plus I have some close family in the US, so the USA has always been a special and wonderful place for me to visit whenever I can...
I admire your work, and this artwork illustrates so many reasons why!!! Favorited, if there was a version of a 5-star favorites category, this card would easily go there!!!
