I made this card using a technique from the VSN challenge by Shelly: Crescendo Saturday. I liked playing with the graduated watercolors on my first card, so I thought I do another one.
I had a photo of the Northern Lights saved on Pinterest, so I decided to attempt to recreate it with watercolors. I created my tree line by drawing it with a black embossing pen and heat embossing it, then I did the same for the reflection in the water. Next, I took my wc powders and mixed them with water to create my sky and the reflection.
I used Wink of Stella glitter brush when it was dry and also drew in some birds.
After I finished, I realized I could also use this for the ABC challenge, letter N! Super!
Thanks Shelly for getting me to experiment with my watercolors!
