My friend here in Carolina had been transferred to Tokyo with her husband for five years. She brought back a lot of rice paper and no longer wanted it so she gave it to me! Lucky me!

Great image and I love that paper. How fortunate we are when we can get someone else's cast offs that are this gorgeous. I don't think I'd be able to pass anything this lovely along.

That rice paper is gorgeous and your image is intriguing . . . wish I could zoom in on that as it looks like possibly her kimono & head piece is composed of hundreds of Kanji symbols overlapping each other or am I imagining things . . .???
