For today's sketch & alpha challenge letter N ...
Roberta doesn't know it, but she actually helped me a lot on this card. I was fine until I needed panel #4. After seeing her card I knew I wanted to use a stitched die. I did have to move my sentiment b/c I placed my image too low. I don't have stitched rectangles that are the size I wanted so I used my stitched fishtail dies & shorten & omit the fishtail. The image is colored with StampinBlends & I used the blender brush for the sky in Not Quite Navy, going back & forth completely across the panel. Idid the same die cutting technique for the sentiment panel & punched a heart.
For letter 'N' I used Night of Navy cardstock & Not Quite Navy ink. Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple, Crumb Cake & Mossy Meadow blends were used.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is Beautiful, Karen! I love your soft sponging....the sentiment wouldn't have looked right on the bottom, even if you had left it longer (imo). Great looking embossing and pretty coloring and colors too, MF~

What a touching card this is, mf!! I love the image, and flipping the card is perfect. Lovely colors, soft and subtle. Well done.

Wonderful card. I always love to see father and son images like this and your little heart die gives this card even that much more feeling to it. The navy adds to the wonderful nautical feeling of this card as well. ~Karen M.

I love this little boy being nestled into his father's hug. Love the navy and not quite navy color combo on this.

What a precious use of the sketch, Karen! The texture of the starry sky is perfect for the father and son sitting on the beach...at least I picture them sitting on the beach!
