I happy to be hosting this week's Color challenge and chose 3 rather bright colors that I don't often think to use. They are ner each other on the color wheel so I think they might work OK.
Pacific Point + Gorgeous Grape + Bermuda Bay with scallops or waves for the dessert option.
I have a die that is intended to be waves, that I love to use as a scallop. BUT I was determined to try something different for this challenge. I made a stencil from a scalloped trim die (from Natures Thoughts Dies) and used it to sponge some waves. I started out trying to plan them and it really seemed to go better once I just stopped thinking about the final product and just played with the colors, the sponges and the stencil.
Since my daughter had her foster pup up at Lake Superior with us last week - and he got brave enough to go for a swim, I decided that my waves would be the perfect place to play with my back view image of a dog.
This, however, is not that dog! Rhinestones, a purple collar and dotted tulle trim wouldn't suit him - but they did suit my colors...
Thanks so much for looking! I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week.

Homemade stencils are the best and such a clever way to reimagine items that we already have. You've created such a beautiful background with the challenge colors. The puppy is adorable!
