Chris gave us some beautiful colors to work with this week. Pacific Point is probably my favorite blue. I wouldn't consciously have picked it as my favorite blue, but I find I use it a LOT so I guess must be my favorite!
This image is one from the new release at Stamping Bella. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her! The boots alone take me back to Junior High - I had a pair of suede boots just like this! I do need to apologize for adding the tiny bit of yellow on this, but a happy face from the 60s and 70s could not be any other color!
Hippie girl is colored in Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. And I got dessert in with my scalloped edge along side the striped side panel.
Thanks for looking and I hope you find time to join us this week!

The colors are beautiful indeed and really shine on your super cute card! I really admire the shading on your wonderfully colored image. I'm relatively new to copics and I long for the day when I can shade clothing and hair as nice as this!

Oh, Jeanne, how absolutely adorable, and such fun! I love this sweet girl with her flowered hairband and skinny legs! Love the greeting, too! And yes, this would be great as a Christmas card in festive holiday colors!

Those boots!!! I can see why this image didn't have to wait long to see ink at your place. I love your coloring as usual - I think I'm going to have to start studying your blog.

Jeanne your hippie girl is adorable and your coloring is fantastic! Her boots sure caught my eye, I agree you can't have a happy face if it's not colored yellow... to cute! TFS

Absolutely adorable. Your coloring is fabulous and I love the dp/trim on the side. I love this image and sentiment too. I didn't have those boots, but I did have long hair and boots back then too. Really fun card. TFS
