This is the 5th of approximately 50 hand-stitched cards I created in about an 18-month period. I gave approximately 44 of the cards, which are an assortment of cards in A2 and 5 by 7 size with a variety of sentiments and occasions to my Mom as a special gift in early 2019. My Mom is a master cross-stitcher, and I had been looking for several years to find a way to stitch on cardstock or to somehow simulate the look of cross-stitch on cards. When I watched a YouTube by Jennifer Mcguire introducing a Hand-stitching die by Paper Smooches, I knew that this could be my answer, and I began learning some basic stitches.
All of the patterns that I have uploaded and color combinations have been my own. I have made 2 hand-stitched pieces that I made into cards that I copied the patterns, if I upload those, I will acknowledge my source.
I used a Sizzix Happy Birthday to you die cut from white fun foam. This brightly colored birthday card does have a pair of scissors on the front along with a button, and likely it would be best suited for a crafter.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my card. When you take the time and trouble to leave a comment, it really makes my day!!!

You mum must be over the moon every time she gets to send one of your amazing cards to a lucky recipient. Your card set is so unique Joanne and your heart shows in every creation. I love the embossed background - even the envelope is magic, I can see a band of embossing on that too.
