The highest building in Milwaukee, WI is the US Bank building, 42 stories. Next tallest is Northwestern Mutual at 32 stories, although there is a shorter building that has 37 stories. No clue how that happened. So we southeastern Wisconsinites don't have a lot of buildings that get in the way of our view.
I feel badly for the kids of Milwaukee, who will not have any public pools to swim in this summer. Many depend on it since many don't have AC. Wonder if they might open hydrants on occasion. Pretty hot right now.
I stenciled the background, which has always looked like flames to me, with hot DOx colors, plus black soot and stormy sky at the top. I dropped a little water on the top to signify a bit a rain is coming through to cool things down. I stamped the building in black on some scraps of bright cs. A line from the song is added at the top. Thanks, Sharon, good choice of song.

That about covers it. We live in a little town 25 miles west of Boston. The tallest things we have are church spires. And we love it that way!! Love your "heat"!!

Fun city card, and sentiment! Good for you using. Aline from the song! Great stenciled background to depict the heat coming off the concrete of the city! Fabulous job on the challenge, Janet. Thanks so much for playing my Summer In The City Challenge!
